Less than half of baby sea turtles make it to the ocean in time they are prey to many animals. Hogs that are on the beach ( find more at hogsgonewildbehindtheseens.blogspot.com) often eat the sea turtles and sense they came out of no where they mess up the food chain so now not even a third of the sea turtles can make it to the ocean on that beach. When the sea turtles do make it into the ocean they still are not safe they mistake plastic bags with jelly fish and eat the trash in the ocean. Sea turtles also mistake the oil in the ocean with sea weed and the oil is toxic and it kills the sea turtles
